How to carry out a procedure through the electronic office?
- select the procedure you would like to carry out from the home page;
- click on the Access button that leads to the Cl@ve authentication service;
- authenticate by e-DNI, digital certificate or access data;
- complete the procedure form.
After completing the procedure, the system will generate an acknowledgement of receipt of the request submitted.
What is Cl@ve?
Cl@ve is a service provided by the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration for the identification, authentication and digital signature of citizens before State Administration bodies. Through this service, you can access the electronic office of the Centro Nacional de Inteligencia. Authentication may be carried out by using an e-DNI, a digital certificate, or the access data provided when registering in Cl@ve.

Can foreign nationals use Cl@ve?
Foreign nationals must prove their identity by presenting the documentation issued by the competent authorities of their country of origin: passport or travel document. Additionally, Cl@ve is designed to include, in the future, identification mechanisms from other EU countries, when these mechanisms are integrated into the system of cross-border recognition of digital identities provided for by European legislation.
Is it possible to access the service as a legal person?
Yes. Cl@ve allows access to natural and legal persons.
What is a digital certificate?
A digital certificate is a digital document that contains personal identification data, among other information. It allows you to identify yourself on the internet and exchange information with other people, with the guarantee that only the holder has access to the information.
What is the digital certificate used for?
The digital certificate guarantees the identity of users and enables them to carry out the procedures that require their secure identification. It also enables digital signing of documents, which has the same legal validity as a handwritten signature on a paper document
An error occurred while sending an application. What can I do?
If there is a problem with the authentication service on accessing Cl@ve, please refer to the section on the Cl@ve system. If the problem persists, please contact our agency via Complaints and Suggestions.
Can I use my e-DNI (National Identification Document)?
Yes. Just like any other certificate, you can use it to register on the electronic office through the Cl@ve system. Simply select the option ‘e-DNI /Digital certificate’ when accessing the electronic office.
